Gamla handlingar ber\u00e4ttar om flertal unders\u00f6kningar av Fagerhults kvarn fr\u00e5n 1697 – 1866. Den \u00e4ldsta kvarnen var byggd av tr\u00e4 och fylld med sten, medan den senare, som byggdes 1802-1803, var byggd av sten. Den st\u00f6rre stengrund fr\u00e5n 1802, som utgjort fundament till den gamla hjulkvarnen finns kvar, den l\u00e5g f\u00f6rut mitt i \u00e5f\u00e5ran, med vatten str\u00f6mmande p\u00e5 b\u00e5da sidor om. Ovanp\u00e5 kvarnen fanns bostad inrymd \u00e5t m\u00f6llaren och hans familj.<\/p>\n
